Research
SHASE is proud to collaborate on studies with various partners (non-profit organizations, universities, research centers, etc.).
In this way, we want to help advance the state of knowledge about male survivors of sexual assault.
SHASE is currently collaborating with a group of researchers from UQAM and the University of Ottawa to research sexually assaulted men and the establishment of a group for them by an organization. SHASE gave researchers access to its activities and users.
The article will present an overview of the problem of the sexual victimization of men. Will follow the qualities required for an adequate reception of men by the organization and for the establishment of a group, while demonstrating the importance of mutual aid in the process.
